read and revise with ed
Hi, I'm Ed. I'm really excited that you want to find out more about my free literacy resource - Ed's Reading Room. Our aim is to encourage boys and girls to read more by exploring exciting, recently published books and discuss them with their friends. All these book selections and activities have been created with the help of my best friend, teacher Maggie Humphreys. The one question parents always ask Maggie is: 'Which books do you recommend for my child?' Well, here is the answer - let Maggie speak for herself!

set up your own ed's reading room club

In addition to enjoying Ed's Reading Room on your own at home, you may wish to start your own Ed's Reading Room with others. You could set up Ed's Reading Room with friends, family members - even just a child with a grandparent - or neighbours, meeting either at home, a library, a community centre or some other suitable venue. Or you could ask your local school to run an Ed's Reading Room - see Ed@School.

Some people might want to set up an Ed's Reading Room online, sharing Ed's Reading Room book selections by email and discussing them with children, friends, family members and teachers at school. Either way, Ed's Reading Room is a free tool that you can customise any way you wish.
